BYOD Program

With the increasing use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the classroom, it is essential that every student has access to a device to support and extend their learning.

Clermont State High School offers a number of options for student to access technology:

• A Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program - a self-managed option. (Mandatory Option)
• A Day Release program – shared, school-owned devices for students with valid needs, devices must stay at school, are signed out in the morning and returned at end of day.
• Laptop Hire Charter program (This option is for Years 11 & 12 ONLY) Senior students may choose to hire a school-owned and managed laptop for the school year. These devices can be taken home and are fully supported by the school's ICT staff.
• Computer labs will remain available for class-based learning activities

All students and parents/carers are asked to:

1. Read the Responsible Use Guidelines, and
2. Sign and return the Responsible Use Agreement located at the end of this booklet.

How to Enrol BYOD to INTUNE  

Check : Your student's account is an Administrator of the computer.

Check : Ensured students school account & password is working – new students will need to log on at school first before they can enrol into INTUNE.

Check: for any pending Microsoft updates 

Check: Laptop is not in  SMODE

Check:  Updated virus checker

Check : Have downloaded Office365 FREE

On-boarding process 

This process can be done at home or at school. .

If on-boarding at school please allow 20 minutes. 

If on-boarding at home please use your home wi-fi.
